DTF Transfer Printing & Apparel
Direct-to-film printing puts full-color artwork onto almost any fabric without the setup cost of screen printing. There are no screens to burn and no per-color charge, so a one-off photographic design costs the same to set up as a single-color logo — which makes it the right process for short runs, samples and designs that would be uneconomic any other way.
We print gang sheets up to 13″ × 120″ and single transfers at any size within that width. Our press runs 13 inches wide, so that is the hard limit on any one design — larger than an all-over back print, ample for anything you'd wear.
Take the film away and press it in your own shop, ship us your blanks and we'll press them, or have us source the garments as well. Whichever you pick, the artwork is prepared and proofed before anything is printed.
How it works
Send Your Artwork
Upload PNG, PDF, TIFF, PSD or vector artwork at 300 DPI at final size. Transparent backgrounds print best. If the file isn't ready we'll tell you exactly what needs fixing.
Layout & Proof
We gang your designs onto the sheet to minimize wasted film, then send a proof showing the layout and finished sizes. Nothing prints before you approve it.
Print & Powder
Your artwork prints in CMYK with a white underbase, then gets adhesive powder and a cure so it bonds properly to fabric.
Press or Supply
We either cut and pack the film for you to press, or press it onto your garments here — yours or ours — at the placements you specified.
Check & Delivery
Every pressed garment is checked for adhesion and placement before it's folded. Delivery or pickup at The Makr Lab.
